Gaudete Sunday Standard Notebook

Image is from a turn-of-the-century hand-painted French lace Holy Card celebrating Gaudete Sunday (Latin for Rejoice!)  - the 3rd Sunday of Lent when the rose candle is lit in the traditional Advent wreath.  The translation is: "Oh, it is beautiful, this happy day.  With joy we await His return." The translation is featured on the interior cover or back page of the notebook.  Note the border of Forget-Me-Not flowers which were quite popular in antique holy card artwork.
