BEST BOARDING STORY: The first barrel I ever got, I dropped in, grabbed my rail in a low crouch, and it just formed around me. I hadn’t expected it, so I was like a deer in the headlights with excitement. I stayed in for what seemed like a few seconds and I got so excited I threw my first in the air. However, my hand hit by the top of the tube and I got knocked off the wave.

FAVORITE PERSON TO SURF WITH: I have so many good memories surfing with so many people. I love getting together with friends I have known for years and being out in the water for a few hours. You get to catch waves and catch up on life.
TACO OR PIZZA: A pizza place near my seminary had a Taco Pizza. That was delicious.
MOUNTAINS OR OCEAN: Ocean. Jesus described himself as living water, not the living mountain. I love mountains too. I have a tattoo of waves meeting the mountains.
COFFEE OR TEA: Both! All day.
VACATION OR STAYCATION: Go somewhere and have the trip of a lifetime.
MORNING BIRD OR NIGHT OWL: 4-5 am is the Lord’s preferred wake up time. 9pm is the Lord’s preferred bedtime. He told me.
